The sister project to The Cabin; The Studio is another 300 year old stable block, but this time it was a blank canvas.
It has never been used for anything other than storage, so it had electricity but no mains water or drainage, and a layout that needs a redesign to make it work as another Furnished Holiday Let.
Works included: Installation of water & drainage system, full internal plumbing, full electrical rewire and smoke/heat detector systems, stud wall to create shower room, Kitchen & shower room installations, new electric heating system installed, full decoration and new flooring throughout, fencing and garden makeover and fully furnished to a high specification to meet the Holiday Let market expectations.
Unlike The Cabin, which has a much softer styling, the design this time has a bit more of a ‘loft apartment’ vibe to it, with bolder colours and a darker ‘industrial’ touch to its décor and furnishings.
It was completed September 2022 and launched onto the Furnished Holiday Let market where it has achieved 93% occupancy to date.
